This song is about fantasy and how some of us pick imagination to get away from moments in our daily lives that pricks us. We choose Tchaikovsky, Monet to escape from an otherwise overwhelming, sad, and miserable state of the planet. We choose Mehdi Hassan and Begum Akhtar on Fridays as a getaway from the mundane and exhausting past-week.

'Jensha' is an amalgamation of two names, both are my cousins who I feel have been through more shit than most of us can bear for their teeny tiny age.

Of course, they are very very young to understand that, and I plan to keep this song from them until they are grown-ups. I wish that, their fairies protect and guide them, and make their roads less miserable.
